About Hana Pharoan

Hana Pharoan is a Maryland-based artist whose work is inspired by nature, memory, and the quiet beauty of everyday life. Originally from Damascus, Syria, she discovered painting as a source of peace and hope during difficult times, and it has remained a lifelong passion.

She studied classical fine art at Zoll Studio of Fine Art, where she refined her skills while developing her own expressive voice. Working primarily in oils, Hana is drawn to the interplay of light and shadow, creating paintings that invite viewers to pause and reflect. Her still lifes and landscapes often explore themes of resilience, renewal, and the beauty that can emerge from life's broken places.

Hana has exhibited her work throughout Maryland and continues to seek opportunities to connect with collectors and fellow art lovers. Through each painting, she hopes to evoke a sense of warmth, contemplation, and the enduring strength found in both nature and the human spirit.
